L2Pilot Polski

L2Pilot Terms of Service

In force from · version 2026-10.1 · This is a translation, and in case of any discrepancy the Polish version is binding.

These Terms set out the rules for using L2Pilot in the free pilot: what you get, what is not allowed, what the risks are and how to end the agreement.

In short

  • L2Pilot shows a selected game window from your PC on your phone or laptop and lets you control it. You can control it, and so can the people you give a thumbs-up to.
  • The pilot is free. We will not charge you anything without your explicit consent.
  • You create your account yourself: you choose a nickname, and the app shows you a recovery code that you need to save. You can have an account if you are at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's consent.
  • L2Pilot never clicks anything in the game by itself. You must not connect bots, macros or scripts to it.
  • A person with your thumbs-up can do anything with your character that you can. Give a thumbs-up only to people you trust.
  • Your game server has its own rules and may penalise your game account, including when its protections detect the L2Pilot program or its driver by themselves. Check them before you start.
  • We do not promise that L2Pilot will work at all times and on every server.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time: just write to contact@l2pilot.com.

This summary is meant to help you understand the Terms. The sections below are binding.

§ 1. Who provides the service

  1. L2Pilot is run by Wojciech Perzyński, a sole trader trading as IMBA Wojciech Perzyński, registered in the Centralna Ewidencja i Informacja o Działalności Gospodarczej (CEIDG, the Polish central register of sole proprietors). In these Terms we refer to ourselves as “we” or “the service provider”.
  2. Address: ul. Brzozowa 17, 84-240 Reda, Poland. You can also send us a letter at this address.
  3. NIP (Polish tax identification number): 5882182884. REGON (Polish statistical identification number): 362629714.
  4. E-mail: contact@l2pilot.com. Other ways to contact us are given in § 2.

§ 2. Contact

  1. The quickest way to contact us is by e-mail at contact@l2pilot.com. Replies come from a person, not an automated system.
  2. We publish announcements about L2Pilot at l2pilot.com. For matters concerning the service, you can write to us at the e-mail address in paragraph 1 or by post at the address in § 1.
  3. We communicate in Polish and in English.
  4. The address contact@l2pilot.com is also the point of contact referred to in Articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). It may be used by the authorities of European Union Member States, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services and users. Languages of contact: Polish and English.
  5. How we process personal data is described in the privacy note (§ 27).

§ 3. Glossary

§ 4. What L2Pilot is

  1. L2Pilot lets you see a selected game window from your PC on a phone, laptop or other computer and control it over the Internet. It can be controlled by you from your own devices and by people from your group to whom you give a thumbs-up. L2Pilot is meant above all for help in a sudden situation, e.g. accepting a resurrection, switching on the auto-farm built into the game or repositioning the character.
  2. As part of the service you can: create an account, activate a licence with a licence code, add and revoke devices, create and join groups, give and take back thumbs-up, share the game from a PC if the PC has a licence seat, connect to PCs in sessions and download program updates.
  3. Picture and control travel over an encrypted connection between the devices, directly or through the relay. The L2Pilot server handles accounts, devices, groups and licences, keeps a copy of your thumbs-up (the original is on your PC) and helps devices set up a connection. It does not see the game picture or what you click.
  4. L2Pilot is not a bot. It never clicks anything in the game by itself: it only passes on the mouse movements, touch and keys of the person in control, at a limited rate (§ 11(6)). It has no macros, no automatic clicking, no automatic accepting of anything, no image recognition and no scripting interface.
  5. L2Pilot does not modify the game: it does not read its memory, inject code into it or intercept its network traffic. It does not switch off Windows or game security features. It shares only one selected game window, never the whole desktop. It does not know your game passwords and never logs in to the game by itself.
  6. L2Pilot runs as a closed beta (pilot). The number of accounts is limited (§ 7(3)). During the pilot we check how the service works in practice and release new versions of it (§ 19(4)).

§ 5. Technical requirements

  1. PC with the game: a computer with 64-bit Windows on an x64 processor (Intel or AMD), version 10 or later. The program will not install the driver on a computer with an ARM processor (e.g. Snapdragon) or on Windows in S mode. Do not switch off Secure Boot or other Windows security features to install the driver. If the installation fails, write to us.
  2. To install the program and to switch on sharing, you need Windows administrator rights. Windows will ask for them in the User Account Control (UAC) window.
  3. The game must run on the PC in the window you select in the program. The PC must be switched on, unlocked and connected to the Internet. When the Windows screen is locked with a password, nobody can help remotely, and the program will show this.
  4. Phone: Android with an up-to-date Chrome browser. The QR code scanner in the app works in Chrome on Android.
  5. Laptop or other computer: an up-to-date Google Chrome browser on Windows.
  6. During the pilot we do not promise that L2Pilot will work on an iPhone or in browsers not listed in paragraphs 4 and 5.
  7. Open the app in a regular browser, not in a browser built into another app (e.g. after clicking a link in a messaging app). If the app recognises such a browser, it will not create a device and will ask you to open it in Chrome. It does not recognise all of them, though, so before entering a code, check that the app is open in a regular browser. Add the app to your home screen (on a computer: install it or bookmark the page), because otherwise the browser may delete the app's data by itself, and your device with it.
  8. Network: devices must be able to connect to the Internet on port 443 (connection to api.l2pilot.com) and establish WebRTC connections. The PC does not open any ports, so you do not need to set anything up on your router.
  9. Whether L2Pilot works also depends on the game client and on the game server's settings. We do not promise that it will work with every client and on every server.

§ 6. Who can have an account

  1. An account may be held by a person who is at least 13 years old.
  2. If you are 13 to 17 years old, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to create an account and use L2Pilot. Show them these Terms. This is consent to entering into the agreement, not consent to data processing: we process data on the legal bases described in the privacy note.
  3. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and, if you are not yet 18, that you have the consent referred to in paragraph 2.
  4. A parent or guardian of a minor may ask at any time for the minor's account to be deleted (§ 25(5)). If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 13, we will delete it.
  5. The account is personal. Do not hand it over to another person. If someone is to help you, they should create their own account, and you should give them a thumbs-up.
  6. Invite codes and recovery codes are meant only for you. Do not pass them on or publish them. A licence code is activated by whichever account enters it first, so give it only to the person who is meant to use it.

§ 7. Entering into the agreement

  1. The binding Polish version of these Terms is available free of charge at l2pilot.com/regulamin, and this English translation at l2pilot.com/en/terms, also before you create an account. You can save or print them in your browser. On request, we will send them to you by e-mail.
  2. We conclude the agreement for the use of L2Pilot with you when you create an account: in the app you choose a nickname or enter an invite code, and accept the Terms. You accept the version in force on the day you create the account. If on that day a new version with a later effective date is already published on l2pilot.com (§ 26(2)), you also accept it; it applies to you from that date. The version number and the date from which it applies are at the top of this page.
  3. You can create an account yourself, without a code. During the closed beta the number of accounts is limited (currently to 200), and at most 3 accounts per day can be created from one network (one IPv4 address or one IPv6 /48 network). When a very large number of accounts is created in a short time, account creation switches itself off; we may also switch it off ourselves. In that case, and when a limit is reached, you can create an account with an invite code. We issue invite codes. A code is valid for the time stated when it is issued, usually 72 hours.
  4. The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period and is free of charge.
  5. By installing the program on a PC, you also accept the software licence in § 15.

§ 8. Account and devices

  1. You choose your nickname when you create the account; usually it is your in-game name. It may have 2 to 24 characters: letters of one alphabet, digits, spaces, dots, underscores and hyphens, with no space at the start or end and no two spaces in a row. It must not be taken, reserved (e.g. the nicknames of the L2Pilot team, of administrators and of people to whom we issue invite codes) or confusingly similar to such a nickname. For an account created with an invite code, we give the nickname when we issue the code. In this version of L2Pilot the nickname cannot be changed. Do not choose a nickname that impersonates another person.
  2. There is no password. You sign in with a key stored on your device. The app creates this key in the browser in such a way that the app itself cannot read or send it, so it never reaches us.
  3. You add further devices yourself, in two ways: you scan the QR code on your PC's screen and confirm on the PC, or you approve the new device on a device that is already on your account, under “My devices → Add my device” (“Moje urządzenia → Dodaj moje urządzenie” in the Polish interface). Codes used for adding a device are valid for 2 minutes. A new device starts working only after it has been confirmed on the device itself.
  4. You can rename or revoke any of your devices, including the one you are currently using. Revocation is permanent: the device loses access, its sessions end, and your PCs and the PCs of people in your groups will reject it.
  5. When you create your account, the app shows your recovery code once. Keep it off the device, e.g. on paper or in a password manager, and never send it to anyone: whoever has this code can take over your account. You can change the code at any time on a device of your account (“My devices → Recovery code”, “Moje urządzenia → Kod odzyskania” in the Polish interface); the old code then stops working, and your other devices show a notice of the change. If you revoke the device on which the current code was set, the code stops working and the app asks you for a new one.
  6. Keep at least two devices (a PC with the program counts). If you lose your phone, clear your browser data or reinstall your PC and still have another device on the account, add a new one under paragraph 3 and do not use your recovery code. If you have no access to any of your devices, choose “I have a recovery code” (“Mam kod odzyskania” in the Polish interface) in the app and enter your code. The new device is then added to your account and the app shows a new recovery code; the previous one stops working. Every time an account is recovered, we withdraw all the thumbs-up other people gave it: ask them to give them again. Your PCs and the PCs of people in your groups accept the new device only after someone clicks “Trust” (“Zaufaj” in the Polish interface) at them. A recovery does not revoke your existing devices: revoke the ones you no longer have, including an old PC from before a reinstall, because only then does it free its licence seat. If you have neither a device nor your recovery code, write to us. We will reply within 14 days. Once we are sure that the account is yours, we will issue you a recovery code valid for the time stated when it is issued, usually 72 hours. If we cannot confirm it, we will tell you why, and you may file a complaint (§ 23). When we issue such a code, we revoke all your devices except PCs with the program, and also every device added with a recovery code together with the devices it added; your previous recovery code then stops working. When such a code is used, we revoke in the same way the devices added after it was issued.
  7. Your PCs and the PCs of people in your groups automatically accept a device added by another of your trusted devices. They only show a message, and the thumbs-up given to your account remain in place. That is why you should protect your devices (§ 18).
  8. On one device, L2Pilot runs in one window at a time. If you open it in a second tab or window of the same browser, you will see a message with a “Use here” button (“Użyj tutaj” in the Polish interface). Only that button moves the connection; the previous window then disconnects and does not reconnect by itself.

§ 9. Groups

  1. A group is a list of accounts in the app. It is not a party in the game, and L2Pilot reads nothing from the game.
  2. Any account can create a group. The founder invites people to it with a one-time link or code, valid for 72 hours, and approves each joining. The founder can also remove a member from the group, hand over the founder role to another member or delete the group. Deleting a group that has other members requires typing its name.
  3. A member can leave a group at any time. To leave, the founder must hand over the role or delete the group.
  4. We may hand over the founder role to another member of the group when the founder asks for it or has deleted their account, and also for the reasons in § 22. We may also do so at the request of another member of the group when none of the founder's devices has connected to L2Pilot for at least 7 days. We notify the founder of a handover for this reason as in § 22(5), and the founder can make a complaint (§ 23). If we uphold that complaint and the group still exists, we will give the founder role back to that account: straight away if it is still a member of the group, and otherwise once the current founder accepts it again within 30 days of our reply to the complaint. We also hand the founder role back to the account that ran the group until our decision (blocking the account or handing over the role), or to the account issued in its place, when we uphold an appeal against that decision, on the terms of § 22(6). The current founder is notified of this as in § 22(5) and can make a complaint (§ 23).
  5. Group members see some information about one another, e.g. nickname, list of devices and PC status. The full list is given in the privacy note.
  6. When you and another person are no longer together in any group, sessions between you end, the thumbs-up between you are lowered, and a licence seat that one of you assigned to the other's PC returns to the licence it came from (§ 12(4)). After you are back in a group together, the thumbs-up has to be raised again.

§ 10. Thumbs-up, or who can control your PC

  1. Your PC can be controlled by your own devices and by the devices of people who are in a group with you and have received a thumbs-up from you. The PC must also be sharing the game, have a licence seat and not be occupied by another session.
  2. By default, the thumbs-up is lowered. You can raise it only at the PC, in the L2Pilot program. It cannot be done remotely, not even from your phone.
  3. A raised thumbs-up does not expire by default. You can also set it to be lowered automatically after a time you choose, e.g. after 1, 12 or 24 hours. When the time is up, an ongoing session ends within a second.
  4. You can lower a thumbs-up at any time, and lower all the thumbs-up on that PC at once with the “Revoke all permissions” button (“Odbierz zgody wszystkim” in the Polish interface). An ongoing session then ends within a second, and any mouse buttons and keys being held down are released.
  5. From your phone or laptop, you can only restrict access to a selected PC of yours remotely: end the session, revoke all permissions or switch off sharing. If the PC is not connected to L2Pilot (e.g. it is switched off), the command waits for it for up to 24 hours and is carried out as soon as the PC connects. If the PC does not connect within that time, the command lapses: repeat it or change the permissions at the PC.
  6. When you start the program with a game window selected, sharing switches on immediately, and people with a thumbs-up can connect without being asked. Sharing switched off manually, remotely or by us (§ 19(5)) stays off until you switch it on again or the program is restarted.

Before you give someone a thumbs-up. That person can do anything with your character that you can: give items away, spend the balance in the game store, log the character out. They will see everything in the game window, including your private messages, and may see the public IP address of your computer. The thumbs-up also covers devices that this person adds later from one of their trusted devices: your PC will accept them by itself and only show a message (§ 8(7)). If someone steals their phone, the thief has the same access until that person revokes the phone or you lower the thumbs-up. Give a thumbs-up only to people you trust.

Disputes over items, balance and characters between you and a person with your thumbs-up are settled by the two of you or with the game server's administration. We are liable if the thumbs-up does not work as described in this section (§ 20(2)).

§ 11. Sessions

  1. Only one person controls a PC at a time. Your own device can take over a session from a helper, while a helper cannot take over a session from anyone.
  2. Control reaches only the selected game window, and only when that window is in front. If the game window goes into the background or is minimised, you may need to bring it back at the PC. The “Bring L2 back” button can try to restore the window, but Windows may block the attempt.
  3. The person at the PC has priority. Any use of their mouse or keyboard immediately pauses remote control and releases any buttons being held down. Remote control resumes after 3 seconds with no input at the PC. The program never locks the mouse and keyboard at the PC.
  4. Sessions have no time limit and do not end because of inactivity. When the connection drops, the session waits. If the connection does not come back within 30 seconds, the session ends.
  5. The person in control can: move the cursor and click (with a mouse or by touch), rotate the camera, use the scroll wheel, drag, restore the game window and press the Tab, Esc, F1-F4, I, K, W, A, S, D keys. Enter and typing in chat are not available.
  6. Rate limit in a session: at most 10 clicks, key presses or similar actions per second (briefly up to 15), 20 camera movements per second and one window restore per 2 seconds. Anything above this is rejected with a message, and the session continues.
  7. While sharing, the program does not let Windows put the PC to sleep because of inactivity. It will not prevent sleep started manually, closing a laptop lid or a screen lock that switches on after the time set in Windows. The program does not change these settings. If Windows locks the screen, nobody can help remotely (§ 5(3)).

§ 12. Licences in the pilot

  1. Only a PC that shares the game needs a licence. Helping others does not require a licence: an account without a licence can control someone else's PC if it has a thumbs-up. The L2Pilot server checks the PC's licence seat when the PC switches on sharing, when someone opens a session with that PC and when it issues the details needed to connect to that PC through the relay. It does not check the licence of the person who connects.
  2. You get a licence from us as a licence code and activate it in the app on any device of your account (“Licence → Activate licence”, “Licencja → Aktywuj licencję” in the Polish interface). The code can be used once and must be activated within the time stated when it is issued, at most 30 days from issue. We may also attach a licence to an invite code. An activated licence belongs to your account. You can see the number of PCs and the end date of the licence in the app. A pilot licence ends on 31 October 2026 at 23:59 Polish time, unless we give another date, or a period counted from activation, when we issue it.
  3. You assign seats from your licence to your PCs or to the PCs of people in your groups. A PC without a seat automatically gets a free seat from its account's licence.
  4. A seat on another person's PC expires by itself when you are no longer together in any group.
  5. When a licence or a seat ends, sessions to that PC end, and the PC is no longer available remotely. The account keeps working: you can help others, add devices and give thumbs-up. The end of a licence does not end the agreement.
  6. We may take away a pilot licence before its end date only for the reasons in § 22 or when the agreement ends (§ 25). After a licence ends, we may issue you another one, but we are not obliged to.
  7. The end of the pilot does not end the agreement. After the pilot licence expires, your account keeps working under these Terms, and helping others remains free of charge (§ 13(4)).

§ 13. The pilot is free

  1. Using L2Pilot in the pilot, including pilot licences, is free of charge. We do not collect any payment data.
  2. We plan paid licences after the closed beta. The packages and a “Buy a licence” button are already shown on l2pilot.com, but during the beta the button is inactive and marked “Closed beta”: nothing can be bought. We will give the terms of paid licences (price, period, payment method and the right to withdraw from the agreement) in a new version of the Terms or in separate terms before you buy anything.
  3. We will not switch you to a paid licence or charge you any fee without your explicit consent. Only you can buy a paid licence, and only by accepting the new terms. A change to these Terms (§ 26) cannot introduce a fee for what you already use.
  4. Helping others, i.e. controlling someone else's PC with a thumbs-up, does not require a licence and is free of charge.

§ 14. PC program, driver, app and updates

  1. Download the program only from the l2pilot.com website. The installation files are at dl.l2pilot.com. Do not install L2Pilot from other sources.
  2. You start the installation yourself. Before the installer installs anything, it describes what the program and the driver are for, how we use them and how to remove them, and installs them only after you agree. You confirm administrator rights in the Windows User Account Control (UAC) window. The installer places on the PC:
    1. the L2Pilot program: it connects to the L2Pilot server, shows the picture of the selected game window to the devices that have access (§ 10(1)) and accepts control from them;
    2. the input module: it passes the movements of the person in control to the game window;
    3. the virtual mouse and keyboard driver: through it, the input module presses and releases mouse buttons and keys, rotates the camera and uses the scroll wheel as if a real mouse and keyboard did it. The module moves the cursor to the indicated spot (before a click and while dragging) with a standard Windows function, which Windows marks as input from a program.
  3. The program stores on the PC, encrypted by Windows: its device key, the keys of your devices, the nicknames and device keys of people in your groups that the PC knows (including trust requests awaiting a decision), your thumbs-up and permanent markers of revoked devices. It also keeps technical logs of the program's operation on the PC: events, states, errors, times and counts. These logs do not record keystrokes, nicknames, IP addresses or secrets. The program deletes session and memory logs older than 30 days when it starts; the other logs have no automatic deletion period.
  4. The program asks for administrator rights at installation, when starting the input module (when you switch on sharing; after that, the module keeps running between sessions) and when installing updates. It does not install a Windows service, does not add itself to autostart and does not create scheduled tasks with administrator rights. It does not open ports on the PC.
  5. The program checks for updates at start-up and when the server announces a new version. It downloads only files listed in a version list that we sign with our key and runs them only when their size and SHA-256 hash match. It installs an update only when no session is in progress and only with your consent. We will switch on installing updates without asking only if you consent to it in the program beforehand and the program lets you withdraw that consent at any time; it will cover only new versions of the components in paragraph 2. We will install a new component (e.g. a different driver) only after the program has described to you, before installation, its purpose, how we use it and how to remove it, and you have agreed. If you do not agree, you can keep using the current version until we switch it off for the reasons in paragraph 7, or terminate the agreement (§ 25).
  6. The browser app updates itself by reloading the page when no session is in progress.
  7. We may switch off an old version of the program or the app only when it has a security vulnerability, when it stops working with the L2Pilot server after a change made under § 19(4) or § 26, or when a legal provision or an order of an authority requires it. Except for an urgent security vulnerability, we announce the switch-off at least 14 days in advance at l2pilot.com. Sessions of the old version then end, and to keep using L2Pilot you need to update it.
  8. The app stores your device key and other data it needs to work (e.g. a group invite waiting to be used) in the browser's storage. L2Pilot does not work without them, which is why we do not ask for separate consent to store them. If you delete the site data for app.l2pilot.com, the device will disappear from the browser. In that case, revoke it on another of your devices.
  9. You uninstall the program in Windows Settings, in the Apps section. Uninstalling the program initiates removal of the driver only if the L2Pilot installer installed it; it does not remove a driver that was already on the system. If the driver stays in the system after you uninstall the program, write to us and we will tell you how to remove it. You remove the app from your home screen or uninstall it in the browser, and delete its data in the browser settings. Uninstalling the program does not delete your account (§ 25).

§ 15. Software licence (the program and the app)

  1. The rights to the L2Pilot program and app, except for the open-source components (paragraph 5), belong to the service provider.
  2. For the term of the agreement, we grant you a free, non-exclusive software licence without territorial restrictions. You may download, install and run the program and the app, and also store and copy them in a device's memory to the extent necessary to use L2Pilot in accordance with these Terms.
  3. You may not transfer the software licence to another person or grant sublicences. You may not distribute the program (e.g. upload the installer to other websites), modify it or circumvent its security features, licence checking and rate limit.
  4. You may not decompile the program or reverse-engineer its code. This does not apply to the acts permitted by Article 75(2) of the ustawa o prawie autorskim i prawach pokrewnych (the Polish Act on Copyright and Related Rights), on the conditions set out there and within the limits of Article 75(3): making a backup copy where necessary, observing, studying and testing how the program works, and decompiling it where needed for an independently created program to interoperate with other programs.
  5. The program contains open-source components, e.g. Electron. They are governed by their own licences, which take precedence over this section for those components. We include the texts of these licences with the program.
  6. The software licence expires together with the agreement. After it ends, uninstall the program, unless you appeal against the termination or the block or make a complaint about it. In that case you may keep the program on the PC, without using it, until we reply. If we find in your favour, the software licence continues as if we had not terminated the agreement (§ 22(6)).

§ 16. Rules of use

  1. Use L2Pilot in accordance with the law and these Terms. Also follow the rules of your game server (§ 17); whether they have been broken is decided by the server operator, not by us.
  2. You must not:
    1. connect bots, scripts, macros or programs to L2Pilot that generate clicks or keystrokes by themselves, recognise images or react to what happens in the game, or in any other way make L2Pilot pass on control (movements, clicks, keys) that a person is not performing live. Switching on a feature built into the game client (e.g. auto-farm) by the person in control does not breach this ban; whether you may use that feature is decided by your game server's rules (§ 17);
    2. circumvent the rate limit, licence checking or other L2Pilot security features, modify the program or the app, or impersonate them;
    3. attack the L2Pilot server or other people's devices, guess codes, overload the service or try to gain access you have not been given;
    4. give invite codes, recovery codes, licence codes, group links and codes, or device-adding codes to anyone other than the person they are intended for, or publish them where other people can see them (the founder sends a group link or code to the person they are inviting);
    5. control someone else's PC or someone else's character without the owner's consent, or take over other people's characters or items;
    6. record, publish or pass on to other people private messages and other data you see in someone else's game window during a session without the consent of the people they concern. You may record them and pass them on only as evidence, to us, to the game server's administration, to authorities or to a court, in a dispute, complaint or report;
    7. give devices, groups and invites names, or choose a nickname, that are illegal, offensive or that impersonate other people or us;
    8. install the program on a PC that does not belong to you without its owner's consent.
  3. L2Pilot does not check whether a human is in control. The rate limit only limits the number of actions, so the prohibition in paragraph 2(a) applies regardless of it.
  4. Take care of your devices: lock your phone, do not hand it to strangers, and revoke a lost or stolen device immediately (§ 8(4)) or write to us.

§ 17. Game servers and no affiliation with NCSOFT

  1. L2Pilot is an independent service. It is not affiliated with NCSOFT or with game server operators and does not act on their behalf. Lineage II is a trademark of NCSOFT. The names of other games and servers belong to their owners.
  2. Each game server has its own rules. Some servers prohibit sharing an account with other people, remote control or the use of additional programs. Before you use L2Pilot, check for yourself whether your server's rules allow it, and follow them.
  3. We do not claim that L2Pilot is allowed on any server. What is allowed on a server is decided by its operator.

Risk to your game account. A server operator may penalise your game account, including blocking it, if it considers that remote control or sharing a character breaks its rules. The game's or the server's protections may also detect the L2Pilot program or its virtual mouse and keyboard driver by themselves and penalise the account, even when nobody is controlling it remotely at that moment. Such decisions are made by the operator, not by us.

§ 18. Risks you need to know about

  • A person with a thumbs-up can do anything with your character that you can, sees your private messages in the game window and may see the public IP address of your computer (§ 10).
  • A nickname does not prove who is behind an account. Anyone can create an account and choose a free nickname. Before you accept someone into a group or give them a thumbs-up, check outside L2Pilot (e.g. by phone or in person) that it is that person, and compare with them the safety code the app shows. The app also shows whether the account was self-registered and when.
  • Your IP address. The PC you connect to may see the public IP address of your phone or laptop. This happens in every session, including through the relay.
  • Your game account may be penalised by the server operator (§ 17).
  • Detection of the program. The game's or the server's protections may recognise the program or the driver by themselves and penalise the game account, also several accounts at once (§ 17).
  • The driver accepts commands from programs running on your PC, and Windows treats its clicks and keys as a real mouse and keyboard. Do not assume that only L2Pilot uses it. A malicious program that manages to send commands to the driver could use it to click even in windows running as administrator, and even to approve the Windows consent window (UAC) and take full control of the computer. The current test package does not include a driver installer; control requires a compatible driver installed separately. If you use FakerInput 0.1.1, it accepts commands from any program running on your Windows account, even without administrator rights. We do not promise that only L2Pilot can access the driver.. This applies for as long as the driver is installed, including when the L2Pilot program is not running. If you stop using L2Pilot, uninstall the driver as well (§ 14(9)). Like any driver, in rare cases it may also cause a system error. Install only what you trust, and back up important files before installing.
  • A PC left switched on and unlocked, e.g. overnight so that someone can help, is available to anyone who sits down at it.
  • A lost or stolen device keeps working until you revoke it: it can control your PC without a thumbs-up and the PCs of people who gave you a thumbs-up, it can add new devices, which your PCs and the PCs of people in your groups will accept automatically (§ 8(7)), and it can revoke your other devices and change your recovery code, so that the code you saved stops working. Revoke it immediately from another device or write to us. Revoking it does not cover devices that the lost device has already added: check the “My devices” list and revoke any device you do not recognise.
  • Recovery code. Whoever has your recovery code can take over your account: add their own device, revoke yours, change the code, delete the groups you run (the thumbs-up between their members then drop), switch off sharing on your PCs and release your licence seats. They gain control of no PC until someone at that PC accepts them: PCs that knew your account accept their device only after someone clicks “Trust”, other PCs only after the safety code is confirmed when the thumbs-up is given, and a recovery withdraws the thumbs-up other people gave your account. If the app shows that someone recovered your account or changed the code and it was not you, revoke that device and any device you do not recognise at once, then change your recovery code: whoever revokes the other's device first wins. If you cannot, write to us. If you run a group, it is all the more important to keep the code off your devices.
  • Losing access to all devices of your account and to your recovery code cuts you off from the account. You can then regain access only through us (§ 8(6)).
  • Codes. Anyone who gets hold of your invite code before you do can create the account with your nickname. A licence code activates the licence on whichever account enters it first (§ 6(6)). For the recovery code, see the point “Recovery code” above.
  • Fake installers. Download the program only from l2pilot.com (§ 14(1)).
  • The rate limit may also reject fast, legitimate taps (§ 11(6)).

§ 19. Availability of the service and new versions

  1. The pilot is a test. We do not promise that L2Pilot will work without interruptions, on every network, on every device and on every game server.
  2. Interruptions may result from work on the server, updates, failures of our providers (e.g. Hetzner, Cloudflare) or attacks on the network. During an attack, Cloudflare's protections may temporarily block the PC program's connections. We announce planned interruptions that we know about in advance at l2pilot.com.
  3. A game server restart may disconnect your character, and L2Pilot will not log it back in. After the game client is started again, the window has to be selected again at the PC.
  4. During the pilot we release new versions of the program and the app. A new version may add or improve features. If it is to remove or significantly limit a feature described in these Terms, we first change the Terms in accordance with § 26.
  5. If the security of the service or of users is threatened, we can switch off sharing on all PCs with a single command. Ongoing sessions then end. A PC shares the game again when you switch sharing on at the PC or restart the program. We cannot use this to switch sharing on, raise a thumbs-up or control your PC ourselves.
  6. This section does not limit our liability under § 20.

§ 20. Liability

  1. We are liable for non-performance or improper performance of the agreement under Polish law. We are liable for the companies with whose help we provide the service (e.g. Hetzner, Cloudflare, Mikrus) as for ourselves.
  2. In particular, we are liable if thumbs-up, device revocation or ending sessions do not work as described in these Terms.
  3. We are not liable for damage whose cause lies solely outside our sphere, e.g.:
    1. decisions of the game server operator that do not result from a defect in L2Pilot;
    2. actions of a person with your thumbs-up, within the access that the thumbs-up gives;
    3. failures of your hardware, connection or software that we did not supply;
    4. the consequences of you passing on codes or devices to other people.
  4. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, in particular for damage caused intentionally, for personal injury and towards a consumer to the extent that mandatory provisions of law protect them.

§ 21. Reporting illegal content

  1. In L2Pilot, users themselves name devices, groups and group invites. Names of devices and groups are visible to group members, and the name of a group also to a person joining it. The label of a group invite reaches only us. An account's nickname is chosen by its user when creating the account; for an account created with an invite code, we give it. We do not store the game picture.
  2. Anyone, including a person without an account, can report content they consider illegal. Send the report by e-mail to contact@l2pilot.com with the subject “Content report” (or “Zgłoszenie treści”).
  3. The report should include:
    1. an explanation of why the content is illegal;
    2. a precise indication of the content: the name of the group, device or invite, the account nickname and the place where the content is visible;
    3. the name and e-mail address of the person reporting (not needed when reporting content related to child sexual abuse);
    4. a statement that the person reporting believes in good faith that the information and allegations in the report are accurate and complete.
  4. We confirm receipt of the report without undue delay, handle it diligently and objectively, and inform the person reporting of our decision about the reported content, briefly of its reasons, and of the possibility of appeal. Reports are handled by a human, without automated means. A person reporting who disagrees with the decision may appeal against it by writing to contact@l2pilot.com within 6 months of the decision. The appeal is handled by a human, and we reply within 14 days. The person reporting may also pursue their rights in court.
  5. When the name of a device is illegal or breaches these Terms, we ask the person the device belongs to to change it. We change that name to a neutral one ourselves if it has not disappeared by the deadline we set, if the matter is serious or if the device is revoked. The founder of a group cannot change its name, so we change an illegal group name, or one that breaches these Terms, to a neutral one ourselves straight away. If that is not enough, e.g. when someone gives an illegal name again, we apply other measures under § 22. An account's nickname cannot be changed (§ 8(1)), so for an illegal nickname or one that breaches these Terms we apply the measures in § 22 and, where a milder one is not enough, terminate the agreement and delete the account; the nickname then stays reserved so that nobody takes it before an appeal is decided.
  6. If we become aware of a suspected criminal offence that threatens people's life or safety, we promptly inform the police or the public prosecutor's office.

§ 22. Restricting and blocking an account

  1. We may apply only these measures to your account (switching off sharing on all PCs at once is described in § 19(5)):
    1. a warning;
    2. changing the name of your device, or of a group that your account created or runs, to a neutral one (§ 21(5));
    3. revoking a device;
    4. taking away a pilot licence;
    5. handing over the group founder role to another member;
    6. deleting a group you run when it is used to breach § 16(2) and a milder measure is not enough (§ 9(6) describes the effects for its members);
    7. blocking the account: you will not be able to sign in, and sessions involving your devices end. As a measure under this section, we block an account only in the cases in § 25(7) and only together with terminating the agreement without notice;
    8. terminating the agreement and deleting the account (§ 25(6) and (7)).
  2. We apply them only for these reasons: a breach of the prohibitions in § 6(5) and (6), § 15(3) or § 16(2), illegal content (§ 21), a threat to the security of the service or of other users, an order of an authority, or an account held by a person under 13. A breach of a game server's rules alone is not a reason for measures under this section.
  3. We choose the mildest measure that is sufficient and act diligently, objectively and proportionately, taking into account the rights and interests of all parties. In the cases in § 25(7), we may block the account immediately and at the same time terminate the agreement without notice.
  4. Decisions are made by a human. Only technical safeguards are automatic, e.g. the rate limit and the one-hour block after 10 wrong invite or recovery codes from one IP address. They do not assess your content or your behaviour in the game.
  5. We give reasons for every decision. The statement of reasons says which measure we applied and for how long (a block on an account lasts until the account is deleted on the date we set under § 25(8) and give in the statement of reasons; if you appeal or make a complaint before that date, it lasts until the account is deleted within the period in § 25(8) or, if we find in your favour, until we unblock it under paragraph 6), which facts were decisive, whether the decision followed a report (§ 21) or was taken on our own initiative, on what basis (a section of these Terms or a legal provision) and why we considered that basis to apply, whether we used automated means, and how you can appeal and what other routes you have (§ 24). The app will show that the account is blocked or the device revoked. When we rename or delete a group, the devices connected to L2Pilot at that time will show that the L2Pilot team did it; if your account runs that group, or we know that your account created it, the statement of reasons will also tell you. The L2Pilot app shows you the statement of reasons on a device of your account after you log in or, if the account is blocked, on the screen that tells you about the block. If we know your e-mail address, we also send it there. The statement of reasons reaches you when the app shows it on a device of your account, or when it arrives in your e-mail inbox. If the statement of reasons has not reached you, e.g. because you no longer have any device of your account, write to contact@l2pilot.com and we will send it to you without undue delay. We will withhold it only when a legal provision or an order of an authority prohibits giving it.
  6. You can appeal by writing to contact@l2pilot.com within 6 months of the decision. We will reply within 14 days. The appeal is handled by a human. Regardless of the appeal, you can use the routes in § 24. If we find in your favour, we will reverse the measure without undue delay. In that case:
    1. We will restore a name we changed or, if you give another one in the appeal, change it to that one, provided L2Pilot accepts it as a name (1 to 40 characters; emoji and some other characters count as two characters or more) and it does not breach § 16(2)(g). A deleted group cannot be restored; you can create a new one.
    2. We will unblock a blocked account, and the agreement continues on the existing terms as if we had not terminated it. We treat your appeal as your consent to this; if you do not want to continue using L2Pilot, say so in the appeal and we will delete the account (§ 25(3)). A block removes nothing, so once the account is unblocked, your devices, group memberships, thumbs-up and licence seats are as they were at the moment of the block, unless someone else changed them in the meantime (e.g. a founder removed you from a group, someone lowered a thumbs-up or released a licence seat) or something expired (e.g. a licence or a timed thumbs-up). If you uninstall the program or delete the app's data in the meantime and the device loses its key as a result, add it as a new device (§ 8(3) or (6)) and revoke the old one; the thumbs-up given on such a PC and the licence seats assigned to it then have to be set again. To connect again, quit and restart the program on each of your PCs, and close and reopen the app on each device, or reload its page.
    3. If we handed over to someone else the founder role of a group that your account ran (as a measure under paragraph 1(e) or during the block, including at a request under § 9(4)) and the group still exists, we will give that role back to you: straight away if you are still a member, and, if you were removed from the group, once its current founder accepts you again within 30 days of our reply to the appeal (we will ask them to).
    4. If the account has already been deleted (§ 25(8)), we will issue you a code for a new account with the same nickname, together with a licence on at least the same terms. Devices and groups will then have to be added again, and licence seats assigned again, both those from your licence on other people's PCs and those that others assigned to your PCs. People who gave you a thumbs-up will then have to raise it again at their PCs. We will ask the current founder of a group that your account ran to accept you again, and once you rejoin it within 30 days of our reply to the appeal, we will give you back the founder role. A revoked device cannot be restored; you add a new one instead (§ 8(3)).
    5. Nothing in points (a) to (d) limits our liability under § 20.
  7. Blocking an account does not take away licences that its holder has assigned to other people's PCs. They keep working until their end date, unless we take them away earlier or delete the account (§ 25(3) and (8)). When the account is deleted, its licences and the seats from them on other people's PCs end.

§ 23. Complaints

  1. If L2Pilot does not work as described in these Terms, or you disagree with our decision concerning your account or licence, you can make a complaint.
  2. Send your complaint by e-mail to contact@l2pilot.com or send a letter to the address in § 1.
  3. Give your nickname, describe the problem and when it occurred, and say what you expect. The version of the program or app and the type of device will also help.
  4. We will reply within 14 days of receiving the complaint. We will send the reply by e-mail or by letter, as you prefer. If you do not give us an address for the reply, we will ask you for one.
  5. If we do not accept the complaint in full, our reply will also say whether we agree to take part in out-of-court dispute resolution (§ 24). If we agree, we will name the body before which the proceedings may take place, with its name and website address.
  6. Making a complaint is not a condition for pursuing your rights in court or out of court.

§ 24. Out-of-court dispute resolution and courts

  1. If you are a consumer, you can use out-of-court ways of resolving a dispute with us. Participation in such proceedings is voluntary. Information about these options is provided by the Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów (UOKiK, the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection; polubowne.uokik.gov.pl). Help is available from:
    1. a powiatowy (miejski) rzecznik konsumentów (district or municipal consumer ombudsman), free of charge;
    2. the wojewódzki inspektor Inspekcji Handlowej (regional inspector of the Trade Inspection), who conducts mediation, and the stały polubowny sąd konsumencki (permanent consumer arbitration court) attached to that inspector;
    3. if you live in another European Union country, the European Consumer Centre in your country (the Polish centre, Europejskie Centrum Konsumenckie, is at konsument.gov.pl).
  2. The EU ODR platform for resolving disputes online was closed in July 2025, which is why we do not refer you to it.
  3. Disputes are resolved by the court having jurisdiction under the general rules. If you are a consumer and live in another European Union country, you may also sue us in the country where you live, and we may sue you only there.

§ 25. Ending the agreement and deleting the account

  1. You can stop using L2Pilot and terminate the agreement at any time, without giving a reason and at no cost.
  2. To cut off access to your PC and account immediately, do the following in this order: leave your groups (if you are the founder of a group, first hand over the role or delete the group); at the PC, click “Revoke all permissions” and switch off sharing; revoke your devices, leaving the one you are using until last; uninstall the program (§ 14(9)). After you revoke your last device, you can no longer change anything on your account yourself. If you also want us to delete the account, write to us (paragraph 3) before you revoke your last device.
  3. To terminate the agreement, ask for your account to be deleted: write to contact@l2pilot.com or send a letter to the address in § 1, and give your nickname. The agreement ends when we receive your message, or on a later date that you state in it. If we are not sure that the message comes from you, we may ask you to confirm it, e.g. by renaming one of your devices to a word we give you; the agreement then ends when you confirm. If you no longer have any device, we will check in another way that the account is yours, as when regaining access (§ 8(6)). After the agreement ends, we block the account without undue delay and delete it within one month of the end of the agreement at the latest.
  4. What happens to your data after the account is deleted is described in the privacy note. Data stored on the PCs of people in your groups (e.g. your nickname and the keys of your devices) stays with them, out of our reach.
  5. A parent or guardian of a person who is not yet 18 may ask for that person's account to be deleted as described in paragraph 3. We do not require them to have access to the minor's devices. If we are not sure that the message comes from a parent or guardian, we will ask for confirmation in another way, and the agreement then ends when it is confirmed.
  6. We may terminate the agreement with 14 days' notice only for a valid reason:
    1. you breach the prohibitions in § 6(5) and (6), § 15(3) or § 16(2) and do not stop despite our request, in which we have identified the breach;
    2. we stop providing the entire L2Pilot service to all users;
    3. a legal provision or a decision of an authority does not allow us to continue providing the service;
    4. a provider without which L2Pilot does not work stops providing its service, and there is no replacement.
  7. We may terminate the agreement without notice only when:
    1. you seriously breach § 16(2)(a), (c) or (e);
    2. your account or devices threaten the security of the service or of other users, and a milder measure under § 22 is not sufficient;
    3. a legal provision or an order of an authority requires it;
    4. the account is held by a person under 13.
  8. The L2Pilot app shows you the notice of termination with reasons, and the request under paragraph 6(a), on a device of your account, in the same way as a statement of reasons (§ 22(5)). If we know your e-mail address, we also send them there. They reach you when the app shows them on a device of your account, or when they arrive in your e-mail inbox. If they have not reached you, we will pass them on to you as soon as you contact us. The notice period runs from the day the notice of termination reached you. We also announce the end of the entire service on l2pilot.com. After the agreement ends, we block the account and delete it within one month at the latest; we give the deletion date in the statement of reasons for the termination and set it no earlier than 14 days after the day the notice of termination reached you. If the notice of termination reaches you later than we expected, we will give you a new date, counted the same way. If, before that date, you appeal against the termination or the block (§ 22(6)) or make a complaint about it (§ 23), we do not delete the account before we have decided the appeal or complaint. If we do not find in your favour, we delete the account within 14 days of sending you our reply at the latest, but not before that date.

§ 26. Changes to the Terms

  1. We may change these Terms only for a valid reason:
    1. a change in the law, in its interpretation in a court ruling, or a decision of an authority that concerns us;
    2. the need to protect the security of the service or of users;
    3. adding, changing or removing an L2Pilot feature;
    4. a change of providers or of the technical way the service is provided;
    5. correcting errors and unclear wording.
  2. We give notice of a change at least 14 days before it takes effect: we publish the new version at l2pilot.com/regulamin, and its English translation at l2pilot.com/en/terms, with its effective date, show a notice in the L2Pilot app after you log in, and send you a link to it by e-mail, if we know your e-mail address.
  3. If you do not agree with the change, you can terminate the agreement at no cost before the date it takes effect (§ 25(3)). If the notice of the change reaches you at least 14 days before that date and you do not terminate the agreement, the new version applies to you from that date. The notice reaches you when it arrives in your e-mail inbox or when the L2Pilot app shows it on a device of your account after you log in. Publication on the website alone is not enough. If the notice reaches you later or not at all, the previous version continues to apply to you until you accept the new one by replying to the notice, by writing to contact@l2pilot.com, by ticking the acceptance in the app or by ticking the acceptance of the Terms when entering a recovery code (§ 8(5) and (6)). We record on your account the version you accept in the app (when you create the account, when you enter a recovery code or in the notice of a change), together with the time you accepted it, so accepting it on one device is enough. We also record when the app first showed the notice of a change on a device of your account. If you ask for your account to be deleted before the change takes effect, the previous version applies to you until the agreement ends.
  4. A change may take effect earlier only when a legal provision or an order of an authority requires it, or when a security threat has to be removed quickly. The new version then applies to you from the day the notice reached you, but not before the date it takes effect. In that case, too, you can terminate the agreement in accordance with § 25.
  5. A change to these Terms will not introduce fees for what you already use (§ 13(3)) and will not shorten a licence you already have.
  6. We add to the information on risks in § 18 as soon as we learn of a new risk. Such an addition does not change your rights or obligations.
  7. The version number and the date from which it applies are always at the top of this page. We will send you previous versions on request.

§ 27. Personal data

  1. The controller of your personal data is the service provider (§ 1). What data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who sees it and what rights you have is described in the privacy note.
  2. The privacy note tells you how we process data. It is not part of the agreement and does not limit your rights under these Terms or under data protection law.
  3. For matters concerning personal data, write to contact@l2pilot.com.

§ 28. Final provisions

  1. The agreement is governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer and live in another country, this choice does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of that country.
  2. The provisions of these Terms concerning consumers also apply, to the extent provided for by law, to a natural person who enters into an agreement directly related to their business activity, where the agreement is not of a professional nature for that person.
  3. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights under mandatory provisions of law. A provision that conflicts with them does not apply, and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
  4. The Polish version of these Terms is binding. The English version is a translation. Ambiguous provisions are interpreted in favour of the consumer.
  5. We will not transfer the agreement with you to another entity without your consent.
  6. These Terms apply from the date stated at the top of this page.
